Fort McMurray storage: common questions
How much does a storage unit cost in Fort McMurray?
Pricing in Fort McMurray depends on unit size, whether it is climate controlled or drive-up, and current promotions. We do not publish a single price because it changes by facility — submit a request and nearby facilities reply with their own rates.
What size storage unit do I need?
A 5×5 fits boxes and seasonal items, a 5×10 roughly a small room, a 10×10 a one-bedroom home, and a 10×20 a two- to three-bedroom home or a vehicle. Our storage size guide has a calculator.
Do I need climate-controlled storage in Fort McMurray?
Northern winters can be severe. Ask about heated units and block-heater plug-ins if you are storing a vehicle. Climate control is most worth it for electronics, wood furniture, instruments, documents and anything sensitive to temperature or humidity swings.
Is FindMyStorage free to use?
